My mother Pat Vincent passed away using MAID on September 6, 2023. While I miss her terribly, I know too that her choosing her time to go was so important – she was 96, had skin cancer that required more intensive treatment and finally a bowel obstruction. She was at home in her own cottage next door to my partner and I until her last hour.

I currently work in Victim Services in southern BC following a 32 yr career in the RCMP. I have always felt a strong calling to help others in any way I can. I live a quiet life after work with my two horses, a rescue dog and my partner Norm.
